My name is Saad Alshamari, and I’m from a country that is small in size but very famous in sports, economics, and tourism. This country is called Qatar.

 

         I studied at Qatar University and I got my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. I am planning to study my Master’s in sports management at the University of Florida. I worked on many projects when I was studying at the university such as, players’ injuries. That project helped me to  learn many things about injuries and the reasons for them and how I could help. In addition, I added several statistics and reports to support my project and I was working with a group on this project.

 

         I got a lot of certificates and honors and they were from more than 20 countries. I got honors when I was studying at the university and when I was playing many different sports in different countries.Also, when I attended and worked hard on courses of refereeing.

 

         My hobby is to read about the history and how people were living in the past. I like their story because they help us to know how to live in the hard conditions. Also, we can learn many things from them such as helping people, living together, and fighting to get freedom.

 

         Since I was child I was in love with soccer and I used to play it everywhere and everytime. I can’t describe how I love it; when I go to bed I lay the ball on my bed and cover it to protect it from the cold. Year by year the life has changed and I became a professional player. I played in many countries such as Oman, Jordan, and Bahrain. Nowadays, I’m an international referee and I’ve umpired a lot of games in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. I would like to be both player and referee. In fact my passion is for everything related to soccer and sports.
